Just to let you know, I’m safely home from hospital.

    Thank you all for your warm wishes and I’m sorry to have taken so long to reply. I had to switch to auto-pilot after the anaesthetic last week, to conserve enough energy for Christmas.

    The surgery was more thorough than expected and resulted in an overnight stay in the hospital but it was well worth it. My head now feels better than it’s done in months and while it’s early days yet, I’m confident that the bone infection has been firmly ‘hit on the head’. I’d swear they used battery acid to treat the bone but who cares, it worked! 😀
